Californian Poppy - joint Flower of the Year 2008
The 'Californian Poppy' or 'Eschscholzia californica Fruit Crush' is an ideal plant for borders and containers and is an easy plant to care for. This variety has a captivating mixture of upward facing, rose, lemon, fiery orange-scarlet and apricot fluted blooms, which are ideal for creating splashes of colour wherever you plant them. Growing to a height of 20 - 25cm they can be planted in the sun or in partial shade and grow in any type of soil.
